To prepare for NaNoWriMo, I use October to get into the habit of writing daily. The minimum word count, however, is far lower than during NaNoWriMo: in the hundreds rather than 1667 (50000/30 days).
I do this for a total of 20 days, for a total of 20 stories. As I write these stories, they'll be added to the below list. The goal is to write 20 pieces of fiction, though one or two pieces of non-fiction may slip through (last year I had one of those).
